Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the Hiremint service, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, any organization you represent (“you” or “Customer”). If you do not agree, do not use Hiremint. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Hiremint, Inc. (“Hiremint,” “we,” or “us”).

2. The service

Hiremint provides a web-based applicant tracking system (“ATS”) and recruiting software for small businesses, including job posting to third-party job boards, a branded careers page, candidate pipeline management, team collaboration tools, and related features (collectively, the “Service”). The specific features and limits available to you depend on the subscription plan you have selected. Current plan details and pricing are described at /pricing.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at hello@hiremint.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Hiremint to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Discriminate against job applicants on the basis of any protected characteristic under applicable employment law.
  • Post fraudulent, misleading, or scam job listings.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its underlying data without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, as selected at checkout. All fees are in US dollars. We use Stripe for payment processing; by providing payment details you agree to Stripe’s terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; your access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which no further charges are made. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial periods, but we handle unusual situations on a case-by-case basis — contact hello@hiremint.com.

6. Free trial

We offer a 14-day free trial on paid plans, with no credit card required to start. At the end of the trial, you may choose a paid plan to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your account will be downgraded or deactivated; we retain your data for 30 days to allow you to export it before deletion.

7. Customer data

You own all data you upload to or create within Hiremint, including job descriptions, candidate information, notes, and messages (“Customer Data”). You grant Hiremint a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely as necessary to provide the Service. We will not access your Customer Data except to provide support you request, to ensure security, or as required by law. See our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement for full details.

8. Intellectual property

Hiremint retains all rights in the Service, including its software, design, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any license to use Hiremint’s trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.

9. Third-party job boards

Hiremint integrates with third-party job boards (e.g. Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter) to post jobs on your behalf. Those boards are operated by third parties and are governed by their own terms of service. Hiremint does not control those platforms and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or policies.

10. Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hiremint’s total aggregate liability to you arising out of or related to these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Hiremint in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim or (b) US $100. In no event will Hiremint be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Hiremint harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may cancel your account from your settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practical. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 90 days after termination to allow export, then delete it in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
